So if your D70 was indicating a DSD stream.then you were getting a DSD was generated as a PCM stream to fool your systems. When I start the conversion, I get a Transcode Warning - Foobar2000 does not support DSD pass through, the conversion will not be lossless. What this mode does is generate a 176.4khz/24-bit PCM stream, packs the lower 16 bits with DSD data, packs the 8 bits with a DoP flag, and streams it as PCM. So.what you're encountering is DoP, DSD over PCM.
